Thanks, Ali. That's exactly what I wanted to post here. I tried using table formatting in HTML but it didn't work at all.

If you've got an image on your hard drive that you want to post you go to http://www.imageshack.us and upload it in about three clicks. Then post it using the URL you're given.

It's like http://www.yousendit.com but for images.

The  in me wants to photoshop Poppy and turn him/her into an angel or some such thing.

The 8) in me says no.

Whenever a pet dies the question is always whether to get another or not. Are you going to adopt another dog Bineaz?

Thank you for exercising your reserve Ali. 8)

Short answer yes; especially with kids. But we already have another dog. We adopted him serendipitously last fall from a shelter; a one year old black Lab mix (Border Collie). Gotta a pic somewhere. Right now we're also looking at something else in Spaniel family

But Poppy was loved and missed; he was only 8. I've been wanting to post a pic of him.

I'd love to get a dog but I'm only at home about half the month and when I am I'm rarely in the house.

I guess I'll have to make do with asking women to bark when they visit me. :D

Not got one of her facing forwards have you Mark?

LOL. Yeah it was my dog. That's a very old pic, taken in our old house about 10-11 years ago. She passed away in March, but she'd have enjoyed that pic I'm sure :P

Bineaz - I'd hope there are things I can do with my pets that you can't/wouldn't. :o

Anyway, I'm soon to be rich so I'll buy everyone here a new dog if they want.

Del Horno: "You can't eat properly in London." lol... so true! A man can only eat so many chips and fishes!! He seems to be liking your little island, nonetheless...

I don't thinbk Del Horno is looking in the right places.

You can eat very, very well in London as you can in most big Cities.

Woodgate will come good, he's a fantastic player.

Scored on his debut didn't he?

I caught the 2nd half of Birmingham-Liverpool today and it was a great game. 4 goals, a red card for handling the ball on the goal line (Cisse scored the PK) and good play all around. Luis Garcia scored on his first tough off a good assist from Gerrard but Birmingham got back 2 quick goals before the Cisse goal. And towards the end a Birmingham fullback cleared a header by Gacria from a corner that was going into the corner of the goal. Apparently this was the first game in which Pool had allowed a goal.... yet they had only scored once prior to today! Damn Rafa... His English is not bad though. I caught his post-game interview and he's the opposite of the majority of Spaniards (who have terribly thick accents and bad grammar in English)

To be fair most people can beat Iker if the ball's more then 50cm off the ground.

Great keeper, useless in the air.

that's not really true. His shortcomings in that department are exaggerated. Not his best suit, no doubt, but not useless
