Penalty for Brazil in the 36 minute for a foul on Diego.

Ronaldinho steps up and the goalie saves it!!

Robinho makes it 2-0 after Luis Fabiano wins the ball and unselfishly passes it.

I couldn't catch it. Justin TV sucks. No more soccer game feeds. Per the request of the telecast right owners.

Bah.

After Wednesday, the table will be a bit more clear. Amazing that Argentina hasn't beat Paraguay in Buenos Aires in 35 years.

That is a trippy stat.

I watched the game both on justin.tv and that peruvian page... The Justin.TV link took like 30 minutes before it picked up the feed though.... the quality was a whole lot better on the peruvian page.

Brasilian

yeah, I found it on one of the Justin TV channels... but the signal was choppy and it kept cutting out. The Peruvian website that was broadcasting the game had a really clear channel.

Ed,

The Arg x Par result was good indeed, but what really made my day was to see "Cabrito Fezes" receiving a red card at home from a brazilian ref, heheheh. Now serious, let's be real, Argentina has a fantastic upfront line with Messi, Riquelme and Maradona's son-in-law Aguero, but the deffence sucks big time, beginning from the GK, even the defence that Dunga calls is better tahn the hermanos'.

About Brasil, great result, but it is worrying since people may think "oh, it was just a matter of attitude" , and it isn't, Brasil has serious technical and tactic problems, Dunga isn't a coach, for the simple fact that he doesn't train the team. I think you don't know , but Dunga "trained" this team for two days, in one of them he released the players from the afternoon train(as he usually does). In both trainings, he used the same players, he didn't change to test a single option for the starting lineup. And let's be real, Chile was an adversary a little bit more dangerous than the wind, same as Bolivia in the next game. Of course the players have talent, and they were challenged t show it by the chilean press, players, the brazilian press and even Lula made deserved critics to the recent performances of the seleção.

The Selecão has a precious asset that this CBF direction seems to don't give a damn at : the admiration and the respect our jersery imposes. Take a look at this board and there are people from all over the world that supports Brasil as if is their native land team; now I can imagine Palo getting ashamed telling his kids: !Hey, niños, let's support this team because they are the best in the world" , and then they see Dunga's team playing....it is easier to keep the children believing in Santa Claus.

Penta:

The style may be a bit more with the times but Brasil is poun for pound the best football team in the world. Even Maradona has admitted it. I am a second generation Brasilian fan and my boy and girl both have followed my footsteps. My daughter once asked me why I got a Brasilian jersey for fathers day and my simply. "Honey, Brasil is the best".

And I still hold that to be true!!!!!!!!!

BNMS

the Peruvian site is Jump TV

Sometimes you can see their adverts even on this site at the top. They even advertise on the local Hispanic station up here.

I got 2 games remaining in my outdoor season. I'm playing wingback this year. I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought I would. Last Sunday we played in the rain. Pretty cold too. It's one thing to be already playing when the rain starts, but quite another to start playing when it's already raining heavy.

Not sure if I'm going to play indoor this winter though.

Chile needs to make it back to the WC. In '98 they were robbed by the 12th Italian on the pitch.

Here we go again, win 3 nil away then draw 0x0 at home against the team coming last.

it's a good thing Argentina are not doing so well either, they kept us second. But look at the points, they are so close

Like I´ve been saying, it is not a mere attitude issue, Brasil has serious technical and tactical problems, and more than that, we don´t have a coach.
We can´t face a tie at home with no goals against Bolivia, the last place playing with 10 men as normal. If the Bolivian GK had been the name of the game, ok, but he hadn´t. Brasil didn´t show offensive potential. If we don´t play in counterattacks like against Chile , the team doesn´t know what to do with the ball, because there is no train. And Dunga said he won´t as to leave. He is right , the man who called him must sent him away, and he will wait until the critics grow even more, so he will receive the popular support, the propable name is Luxa.

The worst part is: this team doesn´t have identification with the fans. The beautiful Engenhão stadium in Rio can have a 45,000 attendance, there were only 31,000 people there from which 16,000 were guests(didn´t pay for the tickets). There weren´t people shouting Brasil adn supporting the team, at the beginning there were 5 or 6 flamenguistas shouting "Juan" or "Obina" and at the end a lot of people calling Dunga "Burro!"
