Mid-February. And yes, would be nice to know how many people registered. But you're not the only participant anyway. if Boye joins the tournament as expected, then there are at least three of us.

Sorry for not keeping the website updated. Will update it tomorrow with fixtures etc.

As for the UPC, there are seven people who have registered, so I'm not sure about what format to use. There are nine available matchdays. Suggestions?

In order to get to even numbers, there's an opening for one more participant, on a first come first served basis.

So far Marko, Felix, Zeus, Buzzz, Eugenius, Eugene Berkovich and myself are in.

Boye,

About the UPC format, I have two suggestions, but I don't know which one to prefer. It's up to you I guess:

A group stage (7 matchdays) followed by one-legged Semifinals and Final would certainly make a good format.

And an alternative would be 2 groups of 4 (double round robin, 6 matches) and a two-legged semifinal. Perhaps less fair than the single group, but on the other hand, I like the idea of a two-legged semifinal to take place during the UEFA Cup semifinals.

Well, I like both formats, but with seven players there would have to be one group of four and one group of three. So a single group of seven would be more fair.

Yeah, I already pointed to the fairness aspect. As I said, it's up to you to decide - especially since it doesn't seem as if anyone besides the two of us really cares about the format, and I am indifferent.

Well who said I don't care? How about a 1 person group (Zeus, so he has a chance to advance...) and a 6 person group?

Otherwise I'm for one huge group. Do we share the TV money or does everybody have to make his own contract?

I know nothing about TV money. Seems to me that the organizer secretly takes it all, without sharing it with us poor, suppressed participants ...

Boye,

I did do well on this UPC matchday, but not quite as well as you say!

Please check the scores of the UPC again. Buzz and I both predicted an away win in match 10, I get 3 points, she gets none. That can't be correct. Also check the points awared for match 9, they seem to be incorrect too.

(No need to cheat in my favor when I can win fair and square; and no use in awarding yourself an extra point when it doesn't help you win anyway - or is this supposed to be a consolation for Rosenborg's defeat? )

Sigh, so my score is less than 1 point per prediction for this matchday. My predicting form is even worse than Norway's Olympic form! :(

To add to your woes, you have yet to correct the prediction points from the Rosenborg match for Buzz and me... Buzz deserves 3 points more, despite her lack of faith in Rosenborg, and I have been awarded one point too many...

Sorry for having to remind you of Rosenborg's result ... :?
