It does look like the keyboard from one of my old IBM PS/1 computers. I let my three-year-old play with it and he patiently, in workmanlike fashion, pulled all the buttons out of place.

IBM PS/1??? I hope you got them from work for free - because for private people, those machines were always twice as expensive as any comparable machine (at least in Germany).

My first PS/1 was purchased in 1992 during my first year in college. I bought it for $1,100. It had a 125 MB hard drive and 486 SX Pentium chip.

Since then, I worked on a multitude of EDS/IBM projects and have come upon many spare parts, from which I put together two more machines.

Yes, they were (and still are) a bit more expensive than the average machine. I guess, you buy brand name as much as merchandise itself. But they are no longer so much more expensive.

In any case, since 2002 I have only bought Dell computers.

Mani, 18 month old hooligan feline has caused his' owner a couple of gray hairs. He's shredded a Boss suit,destroyeda deasigner couch and messed up an expensive rug which which carried a heavy tag at the cleaners. Hehasalso raided in the streets and gotten into fights which landed him visits with the veterinarian.
